#7 Listen to My Trumpet

Hi my sweet munchkins, I hope you and your families are hanging in there and enjoying this pretty weather. This week I have enough Gerald and Piggie books to read one every day.  Yay!  I miss you guys so much.  So do your teachers.  I hope you are praying for us because we are praying for you. We love you big bunches.

Hi little friends!  More story time!  I hope you guys had a great weekend!  But lately, doesn't it seem like EVERY day is the weekend?  My word!  Here's another story for you.  Are you ready for Martha? Here goes....

Weekend Bonus - When a Dragon Moves In

Hi, my favorite munchkins!  I'm popping in on the weekend to add another book, but this one is not read by me.  It's actually read by a famous actor and I thought it might be fun to hear a story from someone else.  Enjoy!

#5 I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!

I'm a stickler for good grammar, but fun wins out over grammar in this adorable book. I hope all of you are doing well.  Sending lots of prayers and love your way from all of our Pre-K Team.

I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!
Just so you know, YouTube gives me three choices for a thumbnail picture for each video.
I'm pretty sure they have a prank department who chooses these because the above frame was the BEST CHOICE!  No lie.  So humiliating.

#4 Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Today's book is a familiar one.  I''ll bet they can recite it along with me.

CHICKA CHICK BOOM BOOM

Y'all, I hope you know how much I love your kids because these images I'm posting are cringe-worthy for me. I seriously want to crawl under a rock when I see them.  UGH!

A little something extra.
this is semi-animated, semi-sung version of the same book:

#3: A Unicorn Named Sparkle

I especially love this sweet story about a little girl named Lucy who wants to buy a special pet. I like this book partly because Lucy looks a lot like me (with black curly hair) and also because it's a really nice reminder of what happens when we open our heart when something or someone doesn't turn out quite how we would like.

Also, as a special bonus, there are extra videos that some of the teachers made about creating their own VOLCANO for the Letter V.  I made a page for the teachers above, but you can also, click HERE.

#2 Duck, Duck, Goose

This book takes place on a farm and made me think of Mrs. LaRocca's Farm Friends!  You will notice all kinds of patterns in the book.  Maybe after you listen, you can show your family how you can make patterns with blocks, or snacks, or anything you have around the house.

Y'all bear with me.  Trying to film myself while reading backwards is going to take some time to master.    Thanks for hanging in there with me.

Are you ready for some stories? (#1: Olivia)

Well, we are one week into the corona virus quarantine, and I'm willing to bet the novelty is wearing off for our little Pre-K friends and their parents too.  So, since one of my favorite superpowers is reading children's stories, I thought I'd read you some stories so maybe we don't have to miss each other so much.

I am starting this blog to keep connected to my favorite little quarantined munchkins and their parents. I'm going to have to get creative but between my daughter, Gianna, and I, we will try to come up with some entertaining content for you guys.

Let's have some fun and know that Mrs. Lewis loves you!

Fun Fact:

**  Mrs. Lemoine will also be posting more of her fun videos.  Click the tab on top with her name on it and it will take you right to her videos. Can't find it?  Click HERE. (If you're on your mobile device there is a drop down arrow where it says HOME. Click that at you will see Mrs. Lemoine's page.)
